WRA Wildlife Rescue Association of BC rehabilitates wildlife affected by human activity and provides education to the public on co-existing with urban wildlife. Wildlife Rescue runs a wildlife hospital on the south shore of Burnaby Lake and treats animals from across the Lower Mainland, the rest of BC, and further afield.
We are a registered non-profit established in 1979. We are the largest wildlife rehabilitation facility in terms of intakes in Canada; we serve nearly 5000 wildlife patients each year! We rehabilitate injured wildlife, raise orphaned wildlife, and treat pollution-damaged wildlife with a goal of release back into the wild.
