Board Member Responsibilities:
Board members are expected to know what exceptional governance is, to practice it as a board member, and to remain apprised of new developments in the governance and regulatory environment.
Board members are expected to read and understand the financial statements of Kids Up Front and help the board fulfill its fiduciary responsibilities.
AIDS Vancouver hosts a resource centre on the 2nd floor. We require the support of volunteers to help support our community program.
We are looking for persons skilled in computers/technology to support clients in building basic computer skills. This would include assisting clients with creating and sending emails, the ins and outs of Microsoft Office, and an introduction to or assistance with social media (eg. Facebook).
Shifts for Computer/Tech Support Volunteers will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am - 1pm.
