Tuck Shop Clerk
The Tuck Shop Clerk (TSC) is a valued member of the team. Providing support to residents through the sale of candy and personal items, the TSC assists residents to make selections and purchase needed items. The TSC records sales of items in log, handling small amounts of cash or recording comfort fund sales.
HOURS REQUIRED: on assigned day, arrive 12:45, depart 2:15pm.
The TSC sets up the shop area, makes sales of inventory, calculates daily sales and submits totals. Additional responsibilities include tracking inventory and notifying the manager of shortages.
Ability to communicate clearly in English
Basic math calculation skills
Ability to work independently
Gratitude and appreciation from staff, residents and families for services provided.
Annual volunteer recognition event
Reference letter provided after three months or 100 hours (whichever comes first!) Criminal Records Check is a requirement - paid by organization
