Reception Services (Monday or Thursday from 1 pm to 4 pm)
This position will assist the agency in Reception Services.
Shifts: 1 pm to 4 pm on Monday or Thursday
Our Reception Services help support our agency in such tasks as harm reduction strategies, administrative support and helps our clients navigate the resources presented at our agency.
We are equip with safety strategies to encourage social distancing and PPE measures to ensure the safety of all volunteers, staff and community members. Orientation to COVID-19 precautions are part of the onsite training.
Ensures incoming telephone calls to Reception Services are directed promptly to the appropriate individual or department;
Maintains, monitors and ensures smooth flow of drop-in wait list and incoming appointments for Community Case Managers;
Directs visitors, callers, and clients to community resources as appropriate and works with other client services staff and volunteers to ensure the effective provision of services;
Monitors public areas at AIDS Vancouver to ensure neat and professional appearance
Supports our Harm Reduction Program at AIDS Vancouver (data collection and distribution)
