Position description: 

The Recreation Therapy services at Yaletown House provides the opportunity for our residents to achieve optimal health and quality of life. Volunteers play an essential role in allowing us to facilitate safe, person centered, therapeutic programs.
We are looking for a male volunteer of Canadian Indigenous heritage to spend quality time with a male resident. Activities will include going for walks and socializing.

Deliverables/Duties: 

Socialize.
Walk.
Listen.

Qualifications: 

Kind, patient.
Ability to follow rules and maintain clear boundaries.

Additional Information: 

Help a senior find purpose, meaning and connection.
Reference letter after three months of continuous service. Criminal records Check and two references required
