Position description: 

 

Laudate Singers, a versatile chamber choir founded in 1995, presents 3-4 main series concerts throughout the year, in addition to special events and outreach performances. Our performances share a sense of joy and discovery, and are also social occasions, building community.

We are seeking  1 - 2 individuals to help the choir with marketing, publicity and producing videos particularly as we move more of our marketing online. Areas we have identified as requiring support:

- creating videos for our content on our YouTube channel using our previous live recordings and stills

- advertising within social media (we use AdWords Express and Facebook ads, but need the required know-how to make it more effective)

- publicity (we have determined specific steps we need to take regarding publicity, but lack the personnel hours to take these steps, therefore we are seeeking a volunteer)

We would be happy to further describe our publicity/marketing plan with interested volunteers, and identify ways to improve upon our plan. This is a flexible role that can be geared toward a volunteer's skills or interests.

Volunteers will need to be able to meet online via Zoom at the outset of the position.

 

 

Deliverables/Duties:

- familiar with video editiing software such as iMovie

- distribution of our beautifully-designed posters

Qualifications: 

Experience with publicity, social media promotion, video production and/or marketing, ideally in the arts.
