Volunteering with us:
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. We could not do what we do without the hundreds of caring individuals who give us the gift of time every day. Volunteering allows you to gain meaningful work experience and establish strong relationships. Enjoy working alongside people who feel as strongly as you do about supporting a great cause and feel enriched about giving back and helping others.
Useful things to know about your time at our head office:
We have a comfortable lounge area where our volunteers can relax during their break, free snacks / refreshments are also provided. There are secure lockers for you to put your personal belongings in during your shift. Our new bright, spacious warehouse / head office has a custom-built kitchen for hosting workshops and events, and has increased freezer and refrigeration capacity allowing us to accept even more fresh and frozen nutritious food. We are located in Burnaby, within close walking distance to Production Way Skytrain and there is free parking onsite.
