Position description: 

Enjoy the beauty of the waters at False Creek, kayak and paddleboard right besides Science World and help others do the same. Our season starts May 22nd and runs until August 30th, our days of operation are Wednesday thru Friday from 11AM to 7PM, and 10am to 6pm for Saturday and Sunday. We supply all the necessary equipment such as lifejackets, paddles, etc. We will have 2 staff members which will assist our clients getting into the kayak or paddleboard, all you have to worry about is having fun and making new friends! Before the start of the season, there will also be a volunteer orientation. Should you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Experience with Paddleboarding and Kayaking strongly preferred.


Adhere to the safety policies of our program which will be covered by our staff. Be ready to have fun and make friends.


Have at least a moderate experience paddle boarding and kayaking

Role is suitable for:

English as a second language (ESL)
Additional Information: 

We will provide a reference and volunteering with us is a great thing to put on your resume as well as on applications when applying to various University or College programs.
Our program does criminal record checks.
