Position description: 

Volunteer led program.  Volunteer will play a card or board game with a resident(s) 1:1 or small group.




Volunteer will invite and encourage resident(s) to play

Volunteer will set up and clean up when finished game

Volunteer will play a card or board game of resident choice

Volunteer will take resident back to where they want to go i.e. lounge or room


Volunteers need to have an interest in helping others, and provide service in a consistent, positive and helpful manner

Volunteers must be kind, respectful and caring

Volunteers must be responsible that can follow directions and home policies and procedures

Volunteers must consent to  a criminal record clearance check, and be free of any criminal charges

Volunteers must enjoy socializing and spending time with seniors

Volunteer must know how to take intiative

Volunteer should have some game knowledge or be able to follow game instructions
