Position description: 

Start something BIG........Become a Big Brother today!

The Big Brothers program matches adult males with boys aged 7-14 who have little-to-no contact with a positive male role model in their life. Big and Little Brothers spend 2-4 hours a week together, doing a wide range of fun, no-cost, and low cost activities. You can do anything from hiking, biking, swimming, movies, listening to music, or just hanging out. We ask for a minimum commitment of one year from all of our volunteers.

Qualifications: 

No special skills or previous experience necessary but must be caring and dependable. Must be a minimum 18 years of age. Police Information Check - Vulnerable Sector and references are required.

Have fun, share hobbies and interests, feel like a kid again. We organize events year-round for our pairs: water-skiing, sailing, wall-climbing, etc. From time to time we get free tickets to sporting and cultural events that our Big & Little Brothers can use. A Big Brother is matched with a Little Brother based on personality type and similar interests. Volunteers are asked to commit for a minimum duration of one year.
