Position description: 

Start something BIG........Become a Big Brother today!

The Big Brothers program matches adult males with boys aged 7-14 who have little-to-no contact with a positive male role model in their life. Big and Little Brothers spend 2-4 hours a week together, doing a wide range of fun, no-cost, and low cost activities. You can do anything from Some activities may include; hiking, swimming, playing sports, going to the movies, or just hanging out together.

We ask for a minimum commitment of one year from all of our volunteers.

No special skills or previous experience necessary but must be caring and dependable. Must be minimum of 18 years of age. A Police Information Check - Vulnerable Sector and references are mandatory.

Have fun, share hobbies and interests and feel like a kid again! We organize fun events for our pairs: water-skiing, sailing, wall-climbing, etc. From time to time we also get free tickets to sporting and cultural events that our Big & Little Brothers can use. A Big Brother is matched with a Little Brother based on personality type and similar interests. Volunteers are asked to commit for a minimum duration of one year.
