Position description: 

Introduce children and youth to their creativity through the use of art and craft mediums. You will aid children and youth ages 6-12 in discovering the joy and pride that comes from artistic endeavors! This position is available at 12 locations. Vancouver Richmond Club: 12091 Cambie Road, Richmond BC Hillside Club: 11339 84th Ave. North Delta Grandview Club: 2055 Woodland Dr. Vancouver Wintemute: 4727 Arthur Dr, Ladner, BC Winskill Club 5555 9th Av, Tsawwassen, BC Surrey Club: Old Yale Elementary

Deliverables/Duties: 

Help out with our arts based programs:  crafts programs, theatre sports, painting and drawing

Qualifications: 

Patience and a desire to work with children/youth. Previous experience in a kids group setting preferable. Creative and willingness to have fun!

If you enjoy arts and crafts, supporting kids through the process of making art and having fun!

Our Clubs are a place where every kid can be amazing! At Boys and Girls Clubs (BGC), we believe that every kid is amazing. And we know that by seeing and hearing them, they’ll believe it, too! That is why, for over 80 years, BGC has been giving children and youth something they deserve: a place to belong when they aren’t at home or at school. To kids, their Club feels like a place where they can hang out with their friends, and make new ones! But it’s so much more. It’s a safe place that provides them with three of the things they need most: a sense of belonging, a sense of success, and positive relationships. That happens through a wide range of activities that are not only of interest to kids, but that are good for them, too: sports, homework, safe access to the on-line world, arts, crafts, and of course, sharing meals.
