Position description: 

GPAG is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator.  The primary duty is to create a roster of reception desk volunteers by phoning  volunteers to fill the monthly calendar, one month  ahead if  possible; compiling and updating a volunteers list of names/telephone/e-mail contact information and volunteer interest areas to place in a binder at the reception desk. ensuring each volunteer has had appropriate orientation/training prior to commencing responsibilities at the reception desk. In conjunction with the Volunteer Trainer, maintaining a procedures manual to be available at the reception desk.  A small honorarium is available to help with expenses.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deliverables/Duties: 

Volunteer Desk Attendants are the FIRST IMPRESSION a visitor receives of GPAG, so the Coordinator's work is to ensure that there is always someone scheduled during opening hours and that that person is knowledgable, helpful and engaging.

Qualifications: 

We hope to find someone who has good interpersonal skills, and is organized.
