Do you enjoy talking, listening, researching and writing?  Volunteering with the Cold Lake Museum as a Historical Researcher may be the ideal volunteer role for you.

This is a flexible volunteer opportunity.

 

Deliverables/Duties: 
  • Research important historical events/figures from Cold Lake
  • Interview Cold Lake residents about their experiences
  • Transcribe interviews
  • Write historical articles about significant people/events in Cold Lake
Qualifications: 
  • Researching in archives
  • Interviewing long-time Cold Lake residents
  • Computer skills/word processing
  • Able to research using the internet
  • Strong writing skills
