Royal Columbian Hospital, New To You Thrift Store Volunteer
The Royal Columbian Hospital is a provincially designated hospital for cardiac, trauma, neurosciences, high-risk maternity and neonatal intensive care providing the highest level of care to the most critically ill and injured from the Fraser Health region and throughout B.C. This position is a part of the RCH Auxiliary Program. The RCH Auxiliary is an integral part of the Hospital. The dedicated Auxiliary volunteers raise funds to support the purchase of new hospital equipment, as well as providing Patient Comfort supplies. A membership to the Auxiliary is necessary (minimal annual fee). The Thrift Store hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 3:30 pm, various shifts available.

New To You Volunteers have fun while working hard at the same time. They assist customers and take pride in knowing that the funds they raise will be spent on much needed hospital equipment and supplies. Duties include customer services, handling cash, sorting clothing, pricing, straighten and tidy shelves, recycling.

The opportunity to interact with the public and represent the RCH Auxiliary To become an member of the RCH Auxiliary The benefit of know your work directly impact RCH as the dollars you raise, go directly to the hospital Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time.
