Community Program Facilitator
The Community Program Facilitator will design, promote, and implement programs where participants will learn and develop skills, connect with each other, and build vibrant communities together.

-Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants
-Interact with participants in a friendly, professional, and caring manner
-Design and lead engaging sessions that encourage participation
-Organize program content, supplies or materials
*Individuals interested in leading a program or group will work with the Community Engagement Supervisor to plan, promote, and implement a program.
-Good communication and organizational skills
-Capacity to facilitate sessions for diverse groups
-Some facilitation/instructing skills experience desirable
-Ability to promote their program or social group
-Good knowledge base of topic/program delivered (certification, diploma, or training desirable)
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively
-Reliable, punctual, flexible, emphatic, and detail-oriented
Volunteers are invited to an annual Volunteer Recognition and volunteer training days. In addition, volunteers will gain teaching experience and references.
Screening measures:
-Completed volunteer application form
-Interview
-Cleared criminal record check
-Reference check
-Volunteer orientation
-Signed policy form
