Description: |
The volunteer will assist the program staff in maintaining a safe and comfortable treatment area for patients. Activities may include visiting with patients waiting for treatment or pick-up after treatment, moving wheelchairs for treatment staff and assisting with other activities. A volunteer is needed Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday between 9:15 and 2:30. |  |

Skills and Experience: |
Volunteers should be comfortable working with seniors. An interest in mental health is an asset. Volunteers will be standing and walking for most of their shift and should be able to push a client in a wheelchair (training provided). |

Training Provided: |
Volunteers will receive an orientation to the hospital and the volunteer program, as well as on the job training. |
