The Accounting Coordinator in our Vancouver office will be required to assist and support the Accounting Team with administrative and accounting related tasks. They will help to keep records of financial transactions, reconcile and balance accounts, assist with the preparation of stipend transfers on a monthly basis and engage in other tasks as assigned under the guidance of the team including mailing and filing.

Bank account reconciliations
Accounts payable (pay invoices and organize expense reports)
Accounts receivable (make bank deposits)
Input data into Quickbooks
Process donation tax receipts
Help transfer funds abroad electronically
Reconcile fund transfers with expense receipts
Help prepare quarterly financial statements
Filing of documentation electronically and in the filing cabinets
Additional administration tasks as needed
Formal bookkeeping education required
Experience working with non-profit organizations is an asset
Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks
Experience with general ledgers
