Bigs in the Community!
Most commonly known as Big Brothers Big Sisters or one to one mentoring. Children and youth benefit from friendship with an older, caring individual through these programs. One mentor (Big) and one mentee (Little) spent time together building a friendship based on trust, support, common interests, and fun! Bigs and Littles participate in a variety of activities – everything from riding bikes, skating, reading, working on homework, cooking, playing video games to just talking and sharing with each other. The result is a life-changing experience for both the mentor and the mentee.
