Position description: 

The Port Moody Arts Centre Society is a charitable organization mandated to develop, promote and celebrate the visual, performing and literary arts in Port Moody. The Arts Centre offers over 350 classes annually to all ages. We have a contemporary art gallery with new exhibitions throughout the year.  The Arts Centre also hosts several community and fundraising events throughout the year.

The Port Moody Arts Centre Society is a charitable organization dedicated to providing opportunities for everyone in the community to enjoy and interact with the arts. The Port Moody Arts Centre Society inspires creativity in a friendly atmosphere by building connections in the Tri Cities communities.

Deliverables/Duties: 

Brochure Distributor Volunteers help to promote and educate citizens about the Arts Centre, by placing brochures, rack cards etc., in Public Libraries, Recreation Centers and various public spaces. Hours are flexible.

Qualifications: 

Ability to work independently and without supervison. Enjoy walking and/or driving. Good interpersonal skills. Organized and attention to detail.

The Port Moody Arts Centre is a cultural hub dedicated to developing, promoting and celebrating the Arts.  We strive to make art accessible and enjoyable for all.

Successful applicants will be contacted for a brief interview. A current criminal record check is required for teens and adults.

Youth between the ages of 14 and 18, must complete and submit a Parent/Guardian Consent form.

A minimum of 30 hours is required. Reference letters, school documents cannot be completed without the mimimum of 30 volunteer hours.
